    You use accordingly to introduce a fact or situation which is a result or consequence of something that you have just referred to.

    e.g. We have a different background, a different history. Accordingly, we have the right to different futures...
           我们有不同的背景和不同的历史。因此，我们有权拥有不同的未来。
    e.g. The workforce have recently been calling for their working hours to be reduced. Many companies have accordingly switched to a five-day week.
           工人们最近一直在呼吁缩短工作时间。许多公司于是转成了一周五天工作制。

2. 照着;相应地
    If you consider a situation and then act accordingly, the way you act depends on the nature of the situation.

    e.g. It is a difficult job and they should be paid accordingly...
           这是份棘手的工作，他们应得到相应的报酬。
    e.g. The new government will make a judgment about its interests and act accordingly.
           新政府将对其利害得失作出判断，并采取相应的行动。
