    If there is a glut of something, there is so much of it that it cannot all be sold or used.

    e.g. There's a glut of agricultural products in Western Europe.

    e.g. ...a world oil glut.

2. 充斥；使供应过剩
    If a market is glutted with something, there is a glut of that thing.

    e.g. The region is glutted with hospitals...
           该地区的医院数量已经饱和。
    e.g. Soldiers returning from the war had glutted the job market.
           从战场返乡的士兵挤爆了劳动力市场。
