1. (事件的)同时发生，同地发生
    A conjunction of two or more things is the occurrence of them at the same time or place.

    e.g. ...the conjunction of two events.
           两个事件的同时发生
    e.g. ...a conjunction of religious and social factors.
           宗教因素和社会因素的并存

2. (语法中的)连词
    In grammar, a conjunction is a word or group of words that joins together words, groups, or clauses. In English, there are co-ordinating conjunctions such as 'and' and 'but', and subordinating conjunctions such as 'although', 'because', and 'when'.

3. 连同…;与…一起
    If one thing is done or used in conjunction with another, the two things are done or used together.

    e.g. The army should have operated in conjunction with the fleet to raid the enemy's coast...
           陆军本应与舰队共同行动，突袭敌方海岸。
    e.g. Since iron destroys vitamin E, these two nutrients should not be taken in conjunction.
           铁会破坏维生素E，所以这两种营养物质不应该同时摄取。
