confident的意思

A：With my strong academic background, I am capable and competent./With my teaching experience, I am confident that I can relate to students very well.
      凭借我 良好的学术背景，我可以胜任自己的工作，而且我认为自己很有竞争力。/依我的教学经验，我相信能与学生相处的很好。

1. 坚信的;有信心的
    If you are confident about something, you are certain that it will happen in the way you want it to.

confident是什么意思

    e.g. I am confident that everything will come out right in time...
           我坚信一切终究都会好起来。
    e.g. Mr Ryan is confident of success...
           瑞安先生坚信一定会成功。

2. 自信的;充满信心的
    If a person or their manner is confident, they feel sure about their own abilities, qualities, or ideas.

    e.g. In time he became more confident and relaxed...
           过了一段时间，他变得更加自信、更为放松。
    e.g. She is a confident woman who is certain of her views.
           她是一位充满自信的女性，对自己的观点深信不疑。

3. 肯定的;有把握的
    If you are confident that something is true, you are sure that it is true. A confident statement is one that the speaker is sure is true.
